Services Friday at Wentzville for Ada Fridley
Funeral services for Mrs. Ada B. Fridlet, nee Houchin, of St. Charles, will be held at 2 pm Friday from the Pitman Chapel, Wentzville, with internment in the Linn Cemetery, also in Wentzville. The Rev. Robert Mordt of Wentzville Methodish Chirch will officiate.
Mrs. Fridley. 89, died Tuesday evening at the Jefferson Street Nursing Home. She was the widow of the late Morrell Fridley, and is survived by a son, Leslie Fridley, Downers Grove, IL, and other relatives. Another son, Elzie Bacon, preceded her in death.
The body will lie in state at the T. E. Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville after 4 pm Thursday.

Morrell Fridley Dies Today At Local Hospital
Morrell L. Fridley, 1001 S. 6th Street, died at the St. Joesph Hospital today at the age of 77 years.
He is survived by his wife Ada, nee Houchins; a son, Leslie, Downers, Ill.; two brothers, Currier of St. Charles and Hudson of Fayette. Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Virgil Schierbaum, St. Charles; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body will be in state at the Muschany Funeral Home in Wentzville after noon Tuesday. FUneral services will be held at the Wentzville Methodist Church at 2 pm Wednesday. Internment, Linn Cemetery.

Descendent of Daniel Boone Died Yesterday
Frank O'Neal Boone, Lifeling Resident of County, Was 77 Years Old.
Frank O'Neal Boone, a lifelong resident of St. Charles County, passed away at 10:00 last night at the Colonial Rest Home in St. Charles. He has recently observed his 77th birthday anniversary. Mr. Boone was born 2/29/1876, near Defiance, in St. Charles County, son to Charles and Adeline Boone. He was a direct descendant of Daniel Boone. Except for several years of his boyhood spent in Green county, southwest Missouri, his live was lived in the county of his birth. He was Methodist in faith. He was a farmer and mechanic.
Mr. Boone was united in marriage with Esther Taylor, 11/2/1904 in St. Charles. The home was established near Defiance, in and near which town the five children were born and raised. The latter years of his life were passed in St. Charles and Foristell.
Surviving, besides his wife, Mrs. Esther Boone, are the five children and their families; C. Marion Boone of New York City, Mrs. Michael Doucette of Washington, D.C., Roland A. Boone of Linden, MO, near Kansas City, Mrs. John Y. Coffman, Jr., of St. Charles and Mrs. B. Russell Scott of Escondido, CA.
The funeral will be held at the Methodist Church in Wentzville, MO, Saturday, 5/9 at 3 pm with the pastor, Rev. Robert Mann, officiating. Burial will be at the Linn Cemetery in Wentzville. He will be in state at the Muschany Funeral Home in Wentzville.

Wife of the late Frank D. Boone. Mother of C. Marion Boone, Mrs. M. A. C. (Mary Francis) Doucette, Mrs. J. Y. (Helen) Coffman, Jr., Mrs. B. Russell (Bernice) Scott. Dear grandmother, dear great-grandmother.
Sister of Dr. I. Ezworth Taylor. Dear aunt, cousin and mother-in-law.
Preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Boone at the Arthur C. Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street, until 9 AM Friday. Services same day at 10 AM at First Methodist Church. Internment Linn Cemetery, Wentzville.

Death of Mrs. Hilda Fowler
Mrs. Hilda Fowler, widow of the late Robert A. Fowler, died at her home in Wentzville, MOnday afternoon, after a short illness of pleurisy. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at 2:00. After services in the home, wher Rev. Geo. E. Pople of the Methodist Church officiated attended by a large gathering of relatives, friends and old acquaintances, internment took place in Linn cemetery.
Hilda Price Fowler, nee Meglasson, was born 11/29/1861, south of Wentzville. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Meglasson (nee Moore), both deceased. When quite young she became a member of the Methodist church. 9/15/1892, she became the bride of Robert A. Fowler, and the couple resided in the Dardenne neighborhood until Mr. Fowler passed away, 1/21/1907. There were four children born of this union: Roy A. Fowler of Foristell, Corp. T. Virgil Fowler of Scott Field near Belleville, IL, Leona Fowler at home, and Ellis, who died 4/11/1908.
Besides those mentioned above, deceased leaves two brothers, T. P. Meglasson of town and A. T. Meglasson of St. Charles, one grandchild, one daughter-in-law, nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends to mourn her death.
Mrs. Fowler moved to Wentzville, 12/4/1913, and resided here ever since. We offer our sincere sympathy to the bereaved.
